Opelousas Spice & Music Festival Seeks Arts & Craft Vendors
(Opelousas, LA) - The City of Opelousas is accepting arts & crafts vendor applications for its upcoming Spice & Music Festival scheduled for June 4-6 in downtown Opelousas.
The Opelousas Spice & Music Festival is a three-day celebration which aims to both promote and preserve our unique Cajun and Creole heritage and culture through food, music, language, artisans, and dance.
Held on the first weekend in June in historic downtown Opelousas, the Spice & Music festival features a unique blend of Louisiana music artist concentrating on Cajun, Creole, Zydeco and Swamp Pop genres. The festival is proud to also feature authentic Cajun and Creole foods as well as arts and crafts vendors from around the state. Throughout the years, the Opelousas Spice & Music festival has become a strong component for promoting and preserving the rich culture of Southwest Louisiana.
