Rental Facilities

The Historic Chapel at Le Vieux Village
Originally built in 1948 in the Village of Palmetto in northeast St. Landry Parish, this picturesque chapel was the former St. Joseph’s Methodist Church. The Chapel at Le Vieux Village is a quaint setting for weddings and special events. Farmers Market Pavilion (at Le Vieux Village)
This large spacious covered pavilion is located at the gateway of historic Opelousas.  Surrounded by a historic village. Includes bathrooms.

Opelousas Civic Center
Available for Weddings, Wedding Receptions, Class Reunions, Family Reunions, Conventions, Banquets and much more. capacity varies depending on the setting.

South Park Large Pavilion
Covered picnic sheds with picnic benches and a large bar-b-que pit. Can accommodate from 50 to 75 people. Available for rental seven days a week at a fee of $100.00* per day. A $25.00* damage deposit is required upon reserving.

South Park Teen Center
Able to accommodate 270 people. Has a full kitchen, table and chairs, and two restrooms that are handicap equipped. It is available for rental seven days a week for a fee of $300.00* per day. A $50.00* damage deposit is required upon reserving. For bookings call, (337) 948-2562. South Park Neighborhood Center Able to hold 170 people. Has a full kitchen, table and chairs, and two restrooms that are handicap equipped. It is available for rental seven days a week for a fee of $350.00* per day. A $50.00* deposit is required upon reserving.
