EVANGELINE DOWNS RACINO

Evangeline Downs Racetrack & Casino is easily accessible from either I-49 North/South or US-190 East/West. The entrance is located on the left just past the Wal-Mart on Creswell Extension. The gaming facility provides 80,000 square feet of entertainment. Evangeline Downs Racino is a state-of-the-art facility with a new one mile oval. In 2008, a seven-eighths of a mile turf course will be ready for racing action. The entire property consists of nearly 750 acres. The track houses nearly 1,000 stalls on the backside.

Along with gaming and horseracing, the facility also is home to several excellent retaurants and bars. Cafe' 24/7, Mojo's Sports Bar, Blackberry's Restaurant and Bar, Zydecos, The Cajun Buffet, and Silks Dining Room have something for just about everyone.
