Sunday - Saturday (except holidays) 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

The City of Opelousas Tourist Information and Welcome Center is located on the grounds of Le Vieux Village at the eastern entrance to Opelousas along U.S. Highway 190. The center houses the Jim Bowie Display. Jim Bowie, an American hero of the Alamo, once lived in Opelousas. The Jim Bowie Display has many artifacts and memorabilia from that era.
