Message from the Mayor
To the Citizens of Opelousas,
While many of us this summer were getting back to attending indoor activities and events and larger social gatherings, it is important that we now take safeguards to protect our friends and families and ourselves. As the Delta variant continues to spread, one preventive measure is to wear your mask, when you are unable to social distance from other people. Also, remember to wash your hands often and get in some exercise activity.
Of course, one of the best safety practices against COVID-19 and related variants is to get vaccinated. Visit www.vaccines.gov for a list of places that are administering the vaccine.
