South Park Large Pavilion
Covered picnic sheds with picnic benches and a large bar-b-que pit. Can accommodate from 50 to 75 people.
Available for rental seven days a week at a fee of $125.00* per day.
A $50.00* damage deposit is required upon reserving and is applied to the total rental.

South Park Teen Center
Able to hold 270 people. Has a full kitchen, table and chairs, and two restrooms that are handicap equipped.
It is available for rental seven days a week for a fee of $600.00* per day.
A $100.00* damage deposit is required upon reserving. Deposits are applied to the total rental.

Home stadium for Opelousas High School, Opelousas Catholic, and J.S. Clark Leadership Academy.
Handicapped Accessible Playground
Handicap accessible playground equipment has recently been added to both North City Park.

All handicapped accessible playground equipment is located in a locked fenced in area (for safety measures). Keys are available through the Opelousas Parks and Recreation Office located in South City Park or through the Opelousas Police Department. Parents of children with disabilities who utilize the Handicapped Accessible Playground Area can request a key (to keep).
South City Park Camp Ground
Amenities: South City Park offers 10 Paved RV sites. All sites with water and electric hookup (20/30), Note there is no dump station on site.
Attractions: Historic District, historical churches and cemeteries, Evangeline Downs Casino and Racetrack, fine food and music festivals.
