(Opelousas, LA) – On Wednesday, August 7, 2019, Mayor Alsandor and city officials took part in the third annual St. Landry Parish School Board convocation where they welcomed hundreds of teachers and support staff. The event, which is a pep-rally style format to kick off the new school year, was held at the newly built Our Savior’s Church along Interstate 49.
