Trick or Treat Trail at South City Park

September 9, 2021

For nearly 20 years, children have been able to celebrate Halloween safely by taking part in the annual Safe Halloween at Le Vieux Village.  Thanks to the ongoing support from many businesses, organizations and individuals, the event has continued to grow.  Because of this growth, and to ensure added safety and fun for families and volunteers, this year we are excited to present Trick or Treat Trail at South City Park.  The larger venue site will provide more area for social distancing and accommodate more activities and parking.

Saturday, October 30, 2021, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

We hope that your organization will consider being a part of the inaugural event scheduled for Saturday, October 30, 2021, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.  Attendees that require special needs will be able to access the Trick or Treat Trail at 3:30 p.m. Organization, businesses, clubs, non-profits, individuals, etc. can sign up for a spot along the trail to pass out goodies for the event.

Trick or Treat Trail is a great opportunity to market your business and become involved in the community! To sign up to be a part of the event using the online form below.  The form can also be downloaded and mailed to Opelousas Tourism, 828 East Landry Street, Opelousas, LA 70570.
