The City of Opelousas is proud to announce that Lance Ned, our Code Enforcement Director/Building Official, has been appointed to the Louisiana Housing Corporation by the Speaker of the House of the Louisiana House of Representatives.
Lance, a lifelong resident of Opelousas and a graduate of Opelousas High, has dedicated his career to serving his community and building a more vibrant future for all. After earning a degree in Speech Pathology from Southern University, Lance spent 15 years as a pharmaceutical sales representative before venturing into the realms of construction, real estate, and the substance abuse sector through his entrepreneurial efforts.
This appointment is a testament to Lance’s hard work, dedication, and the profound impact he has had in his field. The City of Opelousas is excited for this new chapter in Lance’s professional journey and we are confident that his vast experience and deep commitment to community development will contribute greatly to the goals of the Louisiana Housing Corporation.
