The Law Enforcement Torch Run is used to raise awareness to Special Olympics and the state’s upcoming summer games. The final destination of the run is at Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond for the Opening Ceremony of the games on May 24, where over 800 athletes from across the state are competing.
